Answers about the Retiree Medical plan, including eligibility, options, enrollment, customer service and more.
Express Scripts was carefully chosen by your employer for Medicare Part D group retiree prescription drug coverage. Eligible members will automatically be enrolled in this plan unless you choose to opt out. You may only be enrolled in one Medicare Part D prescription drug plan at a time. If you are currently enrolled in another Part D plan, you will automatically be disenrolled from that plan upon enrollment in Express Scripts.
Yes they will, even if you do not see one of them on the formulary list. Any medication that you had filled within 120 days prior to January 1 that you have continually refilled and taken as prescribed will be covered. Additionally, if your medication is listed as a non-preferred medication, the preferred medication copayment will apply. This coverage for current medications is an exception that will remain as an exception for as long as you remain compliant with your drug therapy, meaning you continue to refill and take your medications as prescribed. This member benefit will be applied automatically for the entire plan year.
